Cancellation conditions:
Cancellation of glamping booking no later than 7 days before arrival,full refund or rebooking for another date. From 7 days to 1 day before arrival 50% refund. From 1 day to arrival there is not refund.
In case of cancellation we charge an administrative fee of 200 SEK
Clothing:
Choose clothes according to the weather conditions and remember to dress warmly if it is cold, as there can sometimes be a delay between your activities. If you are going to bathe in our wilderness spa, bring your bathing gear. We provide you with a bathrobe, towel and slippers.
Drinks:
Some of our activities are subjeckt to an alcohol ban. Check with us what applies. However, in connection with food and bathings, you have the option to bring your own drinks. All meals include light drinks and coffee. Feel free to bring your own snacks.
Check-in:
Check-in takes place at 4 pm. Please note that you do not come directly to us, but to the other side of Lake Vristulven, where you park your car and are met by us to transport you and your luggage in our boat across the lake to our accommodation. When ordering, let us know your weight to find you the right life jacket. Under the tab ”Find hereus” you will find exact directions both as GPS and in text.
Check-out:
Check-out by 11 am when we transport you across the lake to the car or you walk back to the car.
Food:
Breakfast is available in the fridge and can be consumed at your convenience. All the other food, such as lunch and dinner, is prepared in advance, and you finish the food off over an open fire. There is a fire-pit and all equipment adjacent to the tent. Should weather conditions make it impossible to cook under the open sky, we have a fully equipped outdoor kitchen available. We include taking care of all dishes and cleaning after your stay. You can enjoy your food next to your tent or also inside the larger tent. It is also possible to sit out on the jetty or indoors in the relaxation area outside the sauna.
Insurance:
We are insured against liability for what we do here on site, but we do not accept liability for the activities you carry out elsewhere. In this case your own insurance would apply.
Getting here:
There are good train connections from Stockholm (2 hours) and Gothenburg (1 hours) to Skövde. From Skövde there are good bus connections to the Krökenbus-stop where we can pick you up. Max 4 people. Call or email for cost.
If possible, use public transport, such as trains and buses. We can pick you up both at Kinnekulle train station in Lugnås or from the bus that runs between Mariestad and Skövde at the Kröken bus-stop. Inquire for the price.
A lot is included:
When you book the glamping tent, the idea is that you should not have to plan or buy items to be able to enjoy outdoor activities, everything should be here on site. This includes canoe with life jacket, bicycle, pentathlon, wood-fired sauna, wood-fired hot tub, all food, fishing rod with fishing license, storm kitchen, backpack, seat pad, bathrobe, towel, slippers. All you need to bring is suitable clothing, hygiene items and wine or beer. However, light drinks and coffee/tea are included. The beds are made up and ready. Towels are included and we do the cleaning. You have free access to wood for your fire-pits.

Klädsel:
Välj kläder efter väderförhållanden och tänk på att kläd dig varmt om det är kallt, då det ibland kan bli lite väntan mellan dina aktiviteter. Skall du bada i vårat vildmarkspa ta med badkläder. Hos oss får du låna badrock, handduk och badtofflor.
Dryck:
Vissa av våra aktiviteter råder det alkoholförbud. Lyssna av med oss vad som gäller. Däremot har du möjlighet i samband med mat och bad inta egna medtagna drycker. Till all mat ingår lättdryck och kaffe. Ta gärna med egen snacks.
Incheckning:
Incheckning sker kl.16. Observera att du inte åker till vår verksamhet, utan du åker till andra sidan av sjön Vristulven, där du parkerar bilen och får möte av oss för att transportera er och bagaget i vår båt över sjön till ditt boende. Vid beställning uppger du din kroppsvikt för att få rätt flytväst. Under fliken ”Hitta hit” får du exakt vägbeskrivning både som GPS och i text.
Utcheckning:
Utcheckning senast kl.11 då vi transporterar dig över sjön till bilen eller så vandrar du tillbaka till bilen.
Maten:
Frukost hämtar du i ett kylskåp och intar när det passar dig.
All övrig mat som lunch och middag är förberett i viss mån, och du tillreder maten över öppen eld. I anslutning till tältet finns en eldstad och all utrustning. Skulle väderförhållande omöjliggöra tillredning under bar himmel, så har vi ett fullutrustat ute kök att tillgå. All disk tar vi hand om och städning efter er vistelse ingår. Du intar din mat i anslutning till ditt tält eller också i det större tältet inomhus. Finns också möjlighet att sitta ute på bryggan eller inomhus i relaxdelen utanför bastun.
Försäkring:
Vi är ansvarsförsäkrade för det som vi genomför här på plats, däremot fråntar vi ansvar för dem aktiviteter du genomför på annan plats. För övrigt gäller dina egna försäkringar.
Hitta hit:
Det finns bra tågförbindelser från Stockholm (2 timmar) och Göteborg (1 timma) till Skövde. Från Skövde finns bra bussförbindelser till hållplats Kröken där vi kan hämta dig. Max 4 personer. Kostnad för det ring eller maila.
Om det är möjligt använd våra allmänna kommunikationsmedel som tåg och buss. Vi kan hämta er både vid Kinnekulletåget i Lugnås eller bussen som går mellan Mariestad och Skövde vi hållplats Kröken. Hör om pris.
Tar du din bil parkeras denna på andra sidan sjön, vid en plats benämnt Svartvik. Vi skickar en länk till Google maps för vägbeskrivning. Denna kommer strax innan din ankomst.
Mycket ingår:
När du bokar glamping tältet är tanken att du inte skall behöva planera eller köpa prylar för att kunna genomföra friluftsaktiviteter, utan allt skall finnas här på plats. Det ingår kanot med flytväst, cykel, femkamp, vedeldad bastu, vedeldad badtunna, all mat, metspö med fiskekort, stormkök, ryggsäck, sittunderlag, badrock, handduk, badtofflor. Det enda du behöver ta med själv är lämpliga kläder, hygien artiklar och vin eller öl. Däremot ingår lättdryck och kaffe/te. Sängarna är bäddade och klara. Handdukar ingår och städning fixar vi. Du har fri tillgång till ved till dina eldstäder.
Bra saker att veta om:
Ventilation: tälten har en canvasduk som andas bra. Dessutom finns ventilationsöppningar i toppen av tältet. Runt sidorna finns öppningsbara ventilationsluckor med myggnät.
Ytterdörren: har två ”dörrar”. Den ena har ett myggnät och denna håller vi stängd innan din ankomst för ventilation. Den yttre ”dörren” stänger du när det passar dig, nattetid och vid regn. Dessa två dörrar har blixtlås och går att öppna helt. Härligt att ligga i sängen med öppen dörr och njuta av sjöutsikten.
Att hålla sig varm: normal sommar är det inga problem att hålla sig varm, då sängutrustningen har tjocka fibertäcken. Dessutom finns det filtar. Skulle inte detta räcka för dig, finns det två värmekällor i tältet. Den ena har en braskamin funktion för mysfaktorn och den andra ett värme-element. Vi har valt bort vedeldade kaminer för säkerhetsrisken och att du slipper elda hela natten. Du kanske vill sova istället?
Att tända en brasa: vid tälten finns två eldstäder för både matlagning och mysfaktorn. Du har fri tillgång till både tändved och kluvna vedträn till dessa. Vill du utmana dig själv, använd våra tänd stål för att göra upp eld. Men skulle det köra ihop sig har du till din räddning gasoltändare. Vi vill att du släcker era eldar vid läggdax. Du har vattenkannor vid tälten. Skulle väderförhållande omöjliggöra att tillreda maten under bar himmel, då finns ett utekök och eldstad under tak.
Att gå på toaletten: varje tält har sin egen vattentoalett som bara du disponerar under din vistelse. Vi utför extra rengöring med tanke på corona.
Att duscha: varje tält har en gasoluppvärmd utedusch. Tält 1 har också lite lyxigare med en toa och dusch i stugan som du själv disponerar under hela din vistelse. Utanför den vedeldade bastun finns också en gasoluppvärmd utedusch.
Skräp: vi är noga med att du källsorterar i dem utställda kärlen.
Vad gör du om det regnar: planera för regn, även om det inte är ofta som det blir ett ihållande daxregn. Så regnkläder gör att du inte behöver bli styrd av yttre förhållande. Tälten är stora, 24 kvm, och du kan sitta i dem vilsamma fjärils fåtöljerna och invänta att regnet går över. Du kan också sitta i relaxdelen utanför bastun. Kanske tända en brasa.
Säkerhetsinformation: vi finns för det mesta i din närhet, då vi också bor på området. Så behöver du få tag i oss. Ring +46709506534. Skulle du behöva hugga ved finns det huggkubbar och yxor. Känner du dig osäker på att hugga. Låt oss visa dig.
I varje tält finns brandsläckare och brandvarnare. Skulle det uppstå en brand och du inte kan ta dig ut den normala vägen ut genom dörren. Då finns en morakniv som du kan skära upp tältduken för att snabbt komma ut. Vi har både batteridrivna och värmeljus som ljuskällor. Dessa värmeljus står skyddade i lyktor. Det finns kaminer och dessa får inte övertäckas eller ställas några värmeljus på.
Vid en akut situation tillkalla hjälp av oss. Jag, Bengt, har 35 års erfarenhet från både räddningstjänst och ambulansverksamhet. För din egna säkerhet ladda ner SOS appen. Via den når du snabbt SOS och ger då SOS ditt koordinad var du befinner dig. Vid din ankomst kommer vi att lämna ut en kod till ett nyckelskåp om blåljus personal behöver tillkallas. På området finns en enklare akutväska och hjärtstartare.
Mer att upptäcka:
I vårat närområde har vi flera trevliga besöksmål, såsom Qvarnstensgruvan, den trevliga sjöstaden Mariestad, Sjötorp vid Göta kanal. Norr om Mariestad ligger den trevliga ön Bromö. Där finns cyklar att hyra. Hela Kinnekulle området är värt ett besök. Paddla kajak, lyssna med Vänern outdoor i Mariestad.
Boende finns ett flertal olika alternativ, Lugnåsbergets vandrarhem, hotell Wiktoria i Mariestad, flera vandrarhem i Mariestad, Äppelgårdens B&B utanför Mariestad. Norrkvarn norr om Mariestad kan erbjuda både safaritält och bo i en trollstubbe.
Handikappade:
Tyvärr kan vi inte ta emot handikappade, då miljön är väldigt kuperad med olika nivåskillnader. Dessutom är inte toaletter anpassade för rullstol.

Good things to know about:
Ventilation: the tents are of breathable canvas. There are also ventilation openings at the top of the tent. Around the sides there are openable vents with mosquito nets.
The entrance: has two ”doors”. One has a mosquito net and we keep this closed before your arrival for ventilation. The outer ”door” you close when it suits you, at night and in case of rain. These two doors have zippers and can be fully opened. Lovely to lie in bed with the door open and enjoy the lake view.
Keeping warm: normally in summer, keeping warm is not a problem as the bedding has thick fiber covers. There are also blankets. Should this not be enough for you, there are two sources of heat in the tent. One has a fireplace function for coziness and the other a heating element. We´ve opted out of wood-burning stoves because of the safety risk and the fact you don´t need a fire all night. Maybe you want to sleep instead?
Lighting a fire: the tents have two fireplaces for both cooking and getting cozy. You have access to both kindling and split logs for these. If you want to challenge yourself, use our fire steel to ignite a fire. But if you get stuck, you have a gas lighter to help you out. We want you to extinguish your fires at bedtime. You have water jugs by the tents. Should the weather make it impossible to prepare the food under the open sky, there is an outdoor kitchen and a stove under cover.
Going to the toilet: each tent has its own water toilet that only you can use during your stay. We do extra cleaning in view of corona.
Showering: each tent has a gas heated outdoor shower. Tent number 1 also has the added luxury of a toilet and shower in the cabin that you can use throughout your stay. Outside the wood-fired sauna there is also a gas-heated outdoor shower.
Rubbish: we a make sure you recycle in the bins provided.
What to do if it´s raining: plan for rain, even if it´s not often that there is a downpour. So rainwear means you don´t have to be guided by external conditions. The tents are large, 24 square meters, and you can sit in the restful butterfly armchairs and wait for the rain pass. You can also sit in the relaxation area outside the sauna. Perhaps light a fire.

Each tent has a fire extinguisher and smoke alarm. If there is a fire and you cannot get out the normal way through the door. There is a mora knife that you can use to cut the tent fabric to get out quickly. We have both battery-operated and tea lights as light sources. These tea lights are protected by a lantern. There are stoves and these must not be covered or have candles placed on them.
In case of an emergency situation call for help from us. Bengt, have 35 years of experience from both rescue services and ambulance operations. For your own safety, download the SOS app. Through it you can quickly reach SOS and give SOS your coordirnates. Upon your arrival, we will provide you with a code for a key locker if emergency personnel need to be summoned. In the locality there is a simple emergency kit.
More to discover: in our local area we have several great destinations, such as the Qvarnstensgruvan (Millstone mine), the lovely seaside town of Mariestad, Sjötorp by Göta Canal, North of Mariestad is the pleasant island of Bromö. There are bicycles to rent. The entire Kinnekulle area is worth a visit. Paddle kayak, with Vänern Outdoor in Mariestad.

Disabled people: unfortunately, we cannot accommodate people with disabilities, as the terrain is very hilly and of different levels. In addition, the toilets are not adapted for wheelchairs. When you have booked an activity day, we will send you a message via mail about the procedure on arrival.
